Slab leaks
Quiet and cumulative. Water under the foundation, eroding what holds the house up. By the time the floor is warm, damage has started.
Main line breaks
The line from the meter to the house. Your yard, your neighbor's yard, and sometimes the street. We locate the break and coordinate with the city when needed.
Water heater failures
Forty to eighty gallons let go at once. Usually in a closet, usually next to something that cannot get wet.
Monsoon roof leaks
Phoenix storms are rare and mean. Water comes in through the roof and travels along framing before it drips. We trace it to the entry point.
Anything you cannot shut off
If you have closed the main valve and water is still moving, call now. That is a leak on the utility side or a valve that has failed.
What to do before we arrive

Shut the main valve, if you can do it safely
It is usually at the meter near the street or where the line enters the house. Turn it clockwise until it stops. If you cannot find it or cannot reach it, tell us on the phone and we will walk you through it.

Kill power to wet areas
Water and electricity have a long, bad history. If an outlet, panel, or appliance is wet, flip the breaker. Do not stand in water to do it.

Insurance adjusters like photos. So do we. If it is safe, document what is wet and where. If it is not safe, skip this step. The house matters less than you do.

- Wet walls, floors, or ceilings. Water shows itself eventually. When it does, the leak has been running a while.
- Cracking sounds in walls or the slab. Pressure builds. Materials give.
