We are in the business of finding things that hide. Your information is not one of them. This page says, in plain English, what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
When you request an estimate, we ask for your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, the service you think you need, a preferred date, and whatever details you choose to give us about the problem. When you subscribe to our notes, we ask only for an email address. Our servers also log the ordinary technical data that every website sees: your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit.
Why we collect it
- To respond to you. A phone number and an address are how we show up at the right house at the right time.
- To send occasional notes, but only if you opted in. Every message tells you how to stop them, and asking works.
- To keep the site working and safe. Technical logs help us stop spam, abuse, and the occasional robot that fills out forms for a living.
Who sees it
Our technicians and office staff, and the service providers that run our website, deliver our email, and store our subscriber list. Those providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and process data only on our instructions. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information to anyone, for any price, ever.
How long we keep it
Estimate requests are kept as business records for as long as we reasonably need them to serve you and to keep our books straight. If you opted in to our notes, we keep your address until you ask us to stop, and then we remove it.
Cookies and analytics
This site does not set advertising cookies. If we use a privacy-respecting analytics tool, it will report aggregate traffic, not individuals.
Your choices
- Stop the notes by replying to any of them or writing to us; we remove you promptly.
- Ask what we have on file or ask us to delete it by writing to info@precisionleakdetection.com. We will answer within a reasonable time and without argument.
- Skip the form entirely and call. We are happy to take a request by phone.
Children
Our services are for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date. We will not quietly change the rules on you.
